Katy Perry on Super Bowl performance: 'I feel like I've outdreamt my dream'

Pop sensation Katy Perry is set to headline the Super Bowl's iconic Half Time show next month and has revealed that it's such a big deal to be performing at the event.

Speaking to ESPN in special behind-the-scenes footage recently, the 'Dark Horse' beauty explained that she will be a little nervous before taking the stage and she's honoured to have accepted the offer:

"When it comes to the Super Bowl, I feel like I've outdreamt my dream in such an incredible way that I'm so grateful for. I don't get nervous about much, but I'll definitely be a little tingly inside that day."

Perry recently told Entertainment Tonight that both her entrance and exit from the Half Time show will be 'unique': "I am human. I'll be something else. There's so many flavours of ice cream and I'll be a different one. I can tell you this, I have some special guests, I have many costumes, I have different worlds that I'm creating and I would say that my entrance and my exit are very unique."

The Super Bowl will take place on February 1 in Arizona.
