Katy Perry auctions Super Bowl guitars for anti-domestic abuse charity

Pop megastar Katy Perry is auctioning off the guitars used by her live band at last night's (February 1) Super Bowl Half Time show to raise money for an anti-domestic abuse charity.

The beauty took the stage in Arizona last night and has given up her band's 74 American Vintage Jazz bass and Fender American Standard Stratocaster in order to try and raise money for the cause.

Break The Cycle "advocates for policy and legislative change to better protect the rights and promote the health of young people nationwide. Our policy team works at the local, state and federal levels to prevent and end abusive relationships."

In a post shared to Twitter (as shown below), the 'Teenage Dream' sensation encouraged her fans to bid on the instruments and she attached a link to the auction: "GUYS! Want the guitars that my band will be playing at #SB49? Bid now to benefit @BreaktheCycleDV: http://nflauction.nfl.com/"
