Katy Perry on staying injury-free on tour: 'We are really well rehearsed'

Katy Perry has credited lengthy rehearsals with keeping her free from injury on tour.

The singer has been busy over the last year promoting her 2013 record 'Prism' on the road.

Speaking at the premiere of new film Katy Perry: Prismatic World Tour in Los Angeles on Thursday (March 26), the US star said that she has luckily managed to avoid injury whilst performing live.

Perry said: "I've never gotten hurt. I would say I barely fell once but it's very hard to find on the Internet and it just never made the news.

"Thankfully everything has been really protected and we pray right before for that protection. And we are really well rehearsed. We rehearsed for this for like three months. We kind of carved it out for six months but actual physical rehearsal was a good three months."

Perry meanwhile will take her Prismatic Tour to Asia from April 18.
