Katy Perry sails past Taylor Swift as top-earning woman in music of 2015

Forbes has unveiled its annual list of the top-earning women in music and pop sensation Katy Perry is way ahead at No.1 with a staggering $135 million. 

The 'Teenage Dream' beauty earned such an impressive sum not only from her Prismatic world tour, but also from business endorsements with Coty, accessories company Claire's and Covergirl, and her music.

Back in the summer, Perry told the magazine that she's proud to be involved in so many business projects: 

“I am proud of my position as a boss, as a person that runs my own company. I’m an entrepreneur. I don’t want to shy away from it. I actually want to kind of grab it by its balls.”

Other stars who made the cut include Taylor Swift, who finished at No.2 with a cool $80 million, Beyoncé, who came in at No.5 with $54.5 million, and country sensation Miranda Lambert, who tied with Jennifer Lopez at $28.5 million. Check out the full Top 10 here:
