Katy Perry has dismissed speculation that her reported boyfriend Orlando Bloom cheated on her with Selena Gomez.

The internet spread rumours recently that the actor had a liaison with Gomez after being they were pictured together in Las Vegas.

However, rumoured girlfriend Katy Perry took to Twitter on Thursday (May 12) to shut down the gossip.

She told fans not to buy into the speculation and posted a link to Bloom's charity work.

The singer said: "Instead of giving energy & eyeballs to dumb conspiracy. Check out how cool this is."

Gomez herself backed Perry by retweeting her post.
