Katy Perry's incredible chart record

Katy Perry has become the first artist in the Billboard Hot 100's history to spend an entire year in the chart. 

The 'Teenage Dream' pop sensation has enjoyed an incredible, and consecutive, 52 weeks in not only the chart but the top ten. In addition to this impressive accomplishment, Billboard listed some of her other amazing achievements and explained that her album 'Teenage Dream' has managed some of the best feats:

"it's one of only three albums to yield a quartet of toppers on Billboard's Pop Songs radio airplay chart; and, also this week, "E.T." rewrites its own mark, established last week, for the most weekly plays (12,361, according to Nielsen BDS) for a title in the Pop Songs' survey's history."
