Katy Perry has admitted that she doesn't hold too much influence over the actions of her fans.

Perry, who recently released her debut film 'Part of Me', told Elle that she's not in a position to tell people if they should or shouldn't do particular things.

However, she said that she tries to live her life with a "lot of integrity" - and she hopes that rubs off on others. Perry said:

"I can't tell a person when it's time for them to have sex...or if they should have a cigarette...But I try to live my life with a lot of integrity...hopefully, that sends a message."

Perry meanwhile spoke about finding love again following her divorce from Russell Brand, adding:

"I'm a woman who likes to be courted, strongly. Never say never, I guess you'd say. I'll let love take the lead on that."
