Katy Perry admits she "can't be the candy queen forever"

Pop beauty Katy Perry graces the pages of September's edition of Elle magazine and revealed that she will probably reinvent herself in the future.

Now that her 'Teenage Dream' album era has come to an end, the songstress explained that it might also be time for the sugary persona that accompanied the chart-topping record to change:

"I love what I do, and when I don’t love what I do, I’ll make a change…I can’t be the candy queen forever."

She also admitted that a second marriage could be possible as she still believes in love, despite divorcing British comedian Russell Brand earlier this year: "I'm a woman who likes to be courted, strongly. Never say never, I guess you'd say. I'll let love take the lead on that."

Perry is pictured wearing two figure-hugging dresses in the article's photoshoot and is also the cover star of next month's U.S. edition. She also spoke about being a role model and said that she tries to live her life with "integrity" so that she influences her fans in a positive way.
