Katy Perry performs at Kids' Inaugural Concert

Katy Perry donned an impressive patriotic outfit as she took to the stage to perform at Saturday night's Kids' Inaugural Concert.

The star-studded event - that honours America's military families - also featured the likes of Usher, Mindless Behavior and stars from hit TV series 'Glee'.

Perry was the top attraction at the extravaganza and was introduced on stage by the First Lady Michelle Obama, who gushed: "It is now my pleasure to introduce the fabulous Katy Perry!"

The stunning songstress was dressed in a revealing stars and stripes lycra suit that boasted a matching waistcoat and red neck-tie.

Perry entertained the crowds with a string of her most famous hits including 'Teenage Dream,' 'Part of Me,' 'Wide Awake' and 'Firework', and told the crowd: "I'm very proud to be here ... and to see the Obamas and the Bidens here for four more years."

Usher had previously kicked of proceedings, singing a host of his chart-topping tunes including 'Yeah!', 'Without You' and 'OMG.'

'Glee' cast members Naya Rivera, Darren Criss, and Amber Riley treated audiences to a rendition of 'Valerie' amongst others.
