Katy Perry slams other MTV VMAs performers: 'At least I kept my clothes on'

'Teenage Dream' superstar Katy Perry has hit out at this year's MTV VMAs performers with a joke about their controversial and collective state of undress.

During her appearance on 'Good Morning America' this morning (September 6), she was praised for her entertaining rendition of 'Roar' and told the presenters that her performance was the most "scandalous" as she wore the most clothes:

"Honestly, I thought that my performance was the most scandalous because I kept my clothes on. But, you know, one of these days I'll push the limits."

The GMA hosts then described Perry as 'refreshing', adding that she is a great role model to young girls and her fans alike.

Out of all of the performers at this year's VMAs, Miley Cyrus attracted the most attention with her renditions of 'Blurred Lines' and 'We Can't Stop' as she wore an incredibly revealing outfit and showed off some suggestive dance moves that caused a stir among her online following.
