Katy Perry and John Mayer photographer says shoot was "beautiful"

The photographer of Katy Perry and John Mayer's recent shoot together has opened up on his experience.

Mario Sorrenti took images of the loved up duo for their duet 'Who You Love', which features on Mayer's new album 'Paradise Valley'.

They saw the couple getting up close and personal with each other.

Speaking to MTV, the snapper said that it was "beautiful" to be in the presence of such smitten superstars. He said:

"They were both really, really sweet. It was really amazing to see both of them together and it was kind of crazy because it was very intimate and it was beautiful just to see two people in love and hanging out together and being able to document that."

He added: "It just felt like new love in a way when two people are very excited about each other."

Perry meanwhile is due to perform in the UK this weekend at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball.

She will take to the stage at London's O2 Arena on Saturday (December 7).
