Kelly Clarkson drops hints about her new album

American singer Kelly Clarkson has been addressing enquiries about her next album.

In response to speculation about what her seventh studio LP will sound like, Kelly tweeted earlier today (January 3):

“People keep asking. My next album is pop. But I am always influenced by music I love, which is pop-rock/country/r&b/dance #whoknowswhatsnext”.

Further details Clarkson revealed to her 9.94 million followers relate to speculation over a collaboration that will feature on her new album. Kelly teased:

“Oh and people also keep asking about the duet on the record. Here's a hint ....this wasn't our first time to sing together”.

She later added a final insight into what is to come by tweeting: “2 clues for the first single ....Proof of life & Dr. Dre #TheNextEpisode”.
