Superstar Kelly Clarkson has revealed that she really struggled with her first pregnancy and hopes that if she has another baby, she won't be so unwell. 

She gave birth to daughter River Rose back in June 2014 and revealed that she would love to have a baby boy if she and husband Brandon Blackstock try to get pregnant again. 

During an interview with Zach Sang & the Gang's radio show, the 'Heartbeat Song' hitmaker admitted that she has heard if you struggle during a pregnancy with a girl, having a boy as your next child will be a breeze so she's hoping to have a son in the future if she decides to expand her family:

"My body shut down when I'm pregnant, it was the worst. It was really hard, just physically couldn't stop vomiting. Honestly the only reason I am hoping for a boy is because they usually say if you're sick with a girl, you won't be with the boy. And if you are sick with the boy, you won't be with the girl. I'm purely hoping it is a boy so I can have the most magically wonderful pregnancy."
