Kelly Clarkson has covered Rihanna's hit single 'Stay'.

The singer performed the track at Pittsburgh's First Niagara Pavilion on Sunday (July 19).

It was part of a fan-requested cover slot that forms part of her current tour.

The former American Idol star also recently performed a rendition of Nick Jonas' 'Jealous'.

Clarkson meanwhile told Entertainment Weekly that she likes to use the slot to keep things interesting for her crew.

She said: "It’s a lot of fun for me and the band because the shows can become monotonous, and this keeps us on our toes."
