Kelly Clarkson has put her own spin on Miley Cyrus' 'Wrecking Ball'.

The singer took on the 2013 track whilst performing live Noblesville, Indianapolis on Thursday (July 30).

Before playing the fan-requested tune, the American Idol winner said:

"I've just been dying to sing this song for a while."

The US star has been regularly covering hit songs on her current tour as part of a fan request slot.

Other tracks given the Clarkson treatment include Nick Jonas' 'Jealous' and 'Stay' by Rihanna.
