Kelly Clarkson: 'Love has influenced my music'

Songstress Kelly Clarkson has revealed that her relationship has changed her songwriting attitude because the 'Since U Been Gone' mentality has now evolved into a more romantic one.

Speaking to Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson, she explained that the song called 'Don't Rush' on her greatest hits compilation was inspired by her relationship with Brandon Blackstock and it's great to sing about something hopeful and positive:

"I'm always the girl who loves the heartbreak songs and stuff like that, and I have since I was a kid. But, I'm super happy, I'm in love and it's great and so I like singing about it."

She added that it's inspiring to be in such an uplifting mindset and is changing her perspective for the better, but joked that the angst her fans know and love is still going to feature in her music:

"It has affected me quite a bit actually. It is nice, I guess, to hear something different from me, but at the same time, with 'Catch My Breath,' which was the first single off the greatest hits -- I actually wrote it about my career, just the arc of everything in my life for the past 10 years."

"So it's kind of got a little bit of everything -- angst and anger and resolution and love. It's got everything in there. So, I don't know what's gonna happen with the next record."
