Songstress Kelly Clarkson has revealed that she is terribly upset by the death of her pet dog, Joplin. 

Writing on her official Twitter page earlier this evening (November 15), the newly married beauty explained that he had quite a struggle through his life and is now at peace. She also accompanied the tweet with an adorable photo, which can be seen above left.

Clarkson wrote: "My best friend died yesterday. Joplin was special.He fought his whole life to survive & now he can rest. I loved him."

Earlier this week, the 'Tie It Up' superstar confessed that she's desperate to start a family with her new husband Brandon Blackstock, but was warned away from getting pregnant too soon by Adele at a recent event:

"She said, 'Girl, don't have a baby 'cause everything else will go on the back burner. I'm living in baby land!'"
