Kelly Clarkson: 'Producer of 'Wrapped In Red' didn't know any of the Christmas songs I had picked'

Hitmaker Kelly Clarkson has revealed that recording her festive album, 'Wrapped In Red', was fairly laborious because the producer wasn't familiar with any of the holiday songs she chose for the tracklisting.

She confessed that the record's producer, Greg Kurstin, is of Jewish faith so wasn't well schooled in popular Christmas songs, which surprised her:

"It's so funny, he's Jewish, so he didn't know any of the songs, so we were in the studio like, 'You know, Run Run Rudolph (by Chuck Berry)?' and he was like, 'Nope'. 'White Christmas (made popular by Bing Crosby)?' 'No'. It was so funny."

On December 24, the country-pop beauty took to her official Twitter page and shot down recent rumours, telling her fans that she is still happily married and that sensational news stories should simply be ignored where her private life is concerned:

"Once again rumor mill... my husband isn't cheating on me. I'm not mad at Blake Shelton for anything. Merry Christmas :)"
