Kelly Osbourne finds Kanye and Kim Vogue backlash "disgusting"

Kelly Osbourne has backed Kanye West and Kim Kardashian after their recent Vogue cover shoot received criticism.

The two celebrities feature on the cover of the April edition of the US magazine and its front image was revealed late last week.

However, some criticised the choice of cover stars and also the use of a hashtag on the front.

In a long post on her website, Fashion Police star Kelly Osbourne lambasted those who have slated the cover.

She said: "People are even going so far as to cancel their subscriptions or bloggers [are] taking down the link to Vogue magazine. I don't want to even go into the awful things people have said about them.

"I find this disgusting. Regardless of whether or not you think Kim and Kanye are worthy enough [to] be on the cover...it's not your decision to make. I do believe that would be up to [Editor] Anna Wintour."

Speaking recently about Kanye and Kim's cover shoot, Vogue editor Wintour meanwhile said: “You may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancée on Vogue’s cover. He did nothing of the sort. The gossip might make better reading, but the simple fact of the matter is that it isn’t true.”

She added: "Kanye is an amazing performer and cultural provocateur, while Kim, through her strength of character, has created a place for herself in the glare of the world’s spotlight, and it takes real guts to do that."
