Kelly Osbourne on beauty: 'Accept yourself because you'll never be anyone else'

'Fashion Police' co-host Kelly Osbourne has revealed that her mother, Sharon, gave her some fantastic words of wisdom about beauty and self-confidence that will always stay with her.

During a new interview with Women's Wear Daily, the star was asked to define beauty and she admitted that it's something that comes from within and is born from self-acceptance:

"The best tip my mum taught me is that beauty comes from the inside. You have to love yourself and be comfortable with yourself. And when you can’t accept yourself for who you are, no matter how hard you try — I tried real hard — you’re never going to wake up and be anyone else."

Lavender-haired Osbourne added: "Beauty comes from within, and you have to be confident. When you are confident, it becomes infectious. That’s something my mother has always instilled in me."

She also recently spoke to the Huffington Post about the make-up collection she has just created for MAC and confessed that she had to tone it down a little because her style isn't for everyone:

"It’s just that my style is very eclectic and not for everyone. Many people don’t like me. And so when I was making this collection, I had to leave my ego at the door. I wanted to make something for every woman, but with a hint of me."
