Kelly Osbourne quits 'Fashion Police'

TV personality Kelly Osbourne has announced that she has quit the E! show ‘Fashion Police’ after four years as a presenter.

Osbourne told her fans on Twitter earlier this week (screenshot below) that she was considering walking from the show after host Guiliana Rancic's disrespectful comments about Zendaya Coleman’s dreadlocks, which she suggested looked like they smelled of “patchouli” or “weed”.

E! issued a statement on Osbourne's shock departure, which reads:

"Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities. We would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers."

On February 24, Osbourne tweeted a message that confirmed she would give Rancic and 'Fashion Police' 24 hours to 'rectify' the volatile situation: "I WILL NOT BE DRAGED INTO THIS! The situation is being rectified like ADULTS by both parties. I hope you can leave it to them & do the same!"
