Kelly Osbourne suffered a somewhat embarrassing accident with self-tan whilst it was being carried in a suitcase.

The TV personality and one-time singer told fans on Twitter and Instagram that she had put a "self tanner" in a suitcase.

However, it appears to have come open in transit and conveniently smudged all over the rear of a white pair of shorts, leaving a somewhat brown looking stain.

Speaking about the mishap, Osbourne said:

"My self tanner exploded in my suitcase Im 2 embarrassed 2 take them 2 the dry-cleaners because it looks like I s**t myself #S**tShorts."

She later tweeted: "Im literally have going 2 have 2 go in there & wipe my face w/ them 2 prove its not sh*t! I can't throw them away I <3 them."
