Kelly Rowland: 'Destiny's Child wouldn't dress in matching outfits now'

Songstress Kelly Rowland has revealed that despite coordinating their clothing during their younger years, Destiny's Child are past the stage of wearing matching outfits.

During an interview with TooFab.com, she opened up about the group's sense of style and confessed that they're more interested in keeping it fresh now than working to make sure they all look the same:

"We probably wouldn't do that now, at all. As you can see from the Super Bowl, we came out in a fresh new way, you know, we all had the same colour on but it was all a different outfit, even different designers but there was still a common thread."

Rowland also spoke about her 'personal style', adding that she dresses according to her moods: "My personal style ... I'm very moody when it comes to style. It depends on my mood, what I put on. I think it's important to exfoliate and to moisturise, you know, we're in this really cold weather. I know I'm in New York and it's cold weather and I think it's important to keep your body moisturised."

Earlier this week, she told HuffPost Live that splitting from her former record label has been great because she now has so much more creative freedom: "I feel like right now, I just needed something new and I've earned the right to make my own choices and make my own decisions. I wish them well, they wish me well. No hard feelings, I just needed a fresh, new start."
