Kelly Rowland: 'I was really scared about being a mother'

Songstress Kelly Rowland has revealed that when she welcomed her first child, Titan, back in 2014 she learned a lot about herself

During a new chat with People magazine, the star explained that knowing she was going to have a baby changed her life: "When I found out that I was going to be a mother, I was the mother who didn't know that I had patience. I was really scared about being a mother, just simply because I didn't think I had enough."

She went onto add that becoming a mother brought out a new side to her personality that she didn't know existed: "When my son was born, I was like, 'Oh my God, I don't know where this patience came from!' I was really happy, and that made me feel better about being a mum."

Rowland recently appeared on U.S. chat show The Chew and explained that her son's personality is amazing: "I have never met somebody with so much (attitude)... Like, he's very defiant right now. Everything is his way or no way! He's very strong-willed. It's like, 'You're only one! Where is there to go?'. It's just so much, but he's just the best thing ever!"
