Kelly Rowland is on her way back to the UK after being spotted about to board a plane from Los Angeles International Airport yesterday afternoon, November 1. 

The singer and current X Factor judge was notably absent from the panel last week and her sudden disappearance set tongues wagging.

Although Rowland is yet to fully address the situation, it was revealed that she became so ill that doctors put her on a drip and she tweeted a message to her fans on October 28 that read:

"I am so devastated that I can't be there but I will be streaming live! #xfactor SO UPSET I can't be there with my girls! :("

Former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke stood in for her over the weekend, but she looks set to return for the next round of performances and eliminations this week.
