Kelly Rowland joins 1Xtra Live tour

X Factor judge Kelly Rowland is the latest star to be added to the line up for the 1Xtra Live Tour that is set to kick off later this month. 

The singer and mentor confirmed the news during a special joint broadcast with The Chris Moyles show on Radio 1 and Twin B on BBC Radio 1Xtra, and explained that she will perform at London's Brixton Academy on December 1. 

Other acts that will join her include hitmaker Jessie J, Nero and Wretch 32, and the full list of performers and venues is as follows:

  • November 28 - Manchester Apollo (Wretch 32, Dappy, Labrinth and Tinchy Stryder)
  • November 29 - Birmingham Academy (Nero, J. Cole, Skream (With Sam Frank) and Maverick Sabre)
  • November 30 - Bristol Academy (Chase & Status, Ms Dynamite, Benga, Youngman and Delilah)
  • December 1 - London's O2 Brixton Academy (Kelly Rowland, Big Sean, Jessie J and UK Female Allstar MCs featuring Mz Bratt, Lady Leshurr, RoxXxan, Lioness, Baby Blue and A.Dot.)

Free ticket registration opened this morning at 8.30am BST through Radio 1's website and will run until 9am on Friday, November 11. 

Rowland is back in the UK ahead of this weekend's X Factor and delighted fans on Twitter by posting a photograph of herself with the girls she is mentoring on the talent show. Watch her performance of 'Commander' in the Live Lounge from last year below:
