Kelly Rowland: "I'm not jealous of Beyoncé"

'X Factor USA' judge Kelly Rowland insists she isn't "jealous" of Beyoncé.

The songstress caused controversy when she released 'Dirty Laundry' earlier this year, which touches upon her envy of Beyoncé's invincible solo career following their time together in chart-topping group Destiny's Child.

Rowland sings lyrics including: “When my sister was on stage killing it like a motherf****r, I was enraged, feeling it like a motherf****r. Bird in a cage you would never know what I was dealing with.

"Went our separate ways but I was happy that she was killing it. Bittersweet she was up and I was down. No lie, I feel good for her but what do I do now?”

However the star says rumours of a feud between the pair are nonsense.

In an interview with In Touch magazine Rowland said: ''I'm not saying I'm jealous of her by any means! It's so sad that people always go straight to that place [of jealousy]. It's ridiculous. It's basically about me going through some struggles in my life while she was doing her thing.''

She added: ''She's incredibly supportive. She was proud of me and thought the song was incredible.''

Destiny's Child - also comprising Michelle Williams - reunited on stage during Beyoncé's Super Bowl halftime performance.

The stunning star revealed she'd be up for another performance with her former bandmates: ''If the ladies want to do it. I'd totally be excited. It'd be beautiful!''
