Ke$ha's mum has dismissed rumours that the singer is undergoing treatment for alcoholism.

The singer recently announced that she has been admitted to a rehab centre to combat the eating disorder bulimia.

However, some reports suggest that the 'Tik Tok' star is also receiving treatment for a drinking problem.

Speaking to Celebuzz, Ke$ha's mother Pebe Sebert confirmed that this is not the case:

"The place she's at is an eating disorder centre. She might be crazy and she might get s**t-faced drunk, but everyone does. She might have a few drinks here and there. But she doesn't have a drinking problem."

Speaking meanwhile about her daughter's eating problems, Sebert added: "She was dieting and she became bulimic. I remember over a period of a few months she got really skinny and she said she was running Runyon Canyon [in Los Angeles] and just eating well. The truth is she was throwing up. I didn't know until much later because she said she would quit."

Pebe Sebert meanwhile has also suggested that industry pressure - especially from producer Dr. Luke - contributed to Ke$ha's eating problems.
