Kesha set to appear in NYC Broadway play for acting debut

'Die Young' songstress Kesha has signed up to make her New York acting debut as part of the 24-hour plays on Broadway challenge.

The beauty, who recently made a cameo on the U.S. hit series 'Jane The Virgin', will take part in the annual benefit, which raises money for the Urban Arts Partnership, New York's largest arts education organisation.

Kesha will join the likes of Wilmer Valderrama, Jesse Eisenberg, Edie Falco, John Krasinski, Jason Biggs, Molly Ringwald, and Olivia Wilde for the fast-paced event.

The stars involved will work with six writers and six producers to create and perform a series of short plays in just one day. The productions will be staged at the American Airlines Theatre on November 16.
