Ke$ha's suicide song

KeSha has revealed that her latest single 'We R Who We R' has been inspired by the recent series of teen suicides, including Tyler Clementi, who jumped off the George Washington bridge after a roommate outed him online.

"I was really affected by the suicides that have been happening, having been subject to very public hatred (myself). I have absolutely no idea how these kids felt. What I'm going through is nothing compared to what they had to go through. Just know things do get better and you need to celebrate who you are. Every weird thing about you is beautiful and makes life interesting. Hopefully, the song really captures that emotion of celebrating who you are."

Last week, Ke$ha recorded a video for 'It Gets Better' - a project to help teens targeted by homophobia.

'We R Who We R" is scheduled to be available for downloads from October 25, and 'Cannibal' is released on November 22.
