Ke$ha has described working with veteran rocker Iggy Pop as "insane".

The pair teamed up for a track on the 'Tik Tok' star's forthcoming new album 'Warrior' and it seems it was a humbling affair for Ke$ha.

She told Capital FM that she would go as far as to call the session one of the highlights of her life. The 'Die Young' singer said about the recording:

"Insane. It was like the best day of my life probably. It was amazing because, for me, saying something nice about someone, that's being polite. But to actually collaborate with someone - that's putting both of your names and making a piece of art together, and you kind of have to respect one another for that."

She continued: "So I obviously respect the hell out of him, but for him to respect me enough to actually put his name on something and collaborate with me was incredibly flattering as an artist."

'Warrior' meanwhile is due to be released on December 3.
