Kimberley Walsh has announced that she is pregnant.

The Girls Aloud singer took to Twitter today (February 24) to reveal that she is due to have her first child with partner Justin Scott.

The 32-year-old wrote: "Justin and I are so happy to let you all know we are having a baby!!! Couldn't wait to share our lovely news with you all."

Walsh will be the second Girls Aloud member to give birth following the arrival of Nadine Coyle's first child earlier this month.

Speaking meanwhile recently about her taste for fashion and her outfit evolution, Walsh told OK! magazine:

"I think fashion has changed so much in 10 years. When I think around the time of our 'Chemistry' album, like 'Biology' and the outfits we wore for that [video] with the black pencil skirt and shirt, with the red belts an the bodycon stuff; that kind of took over and I don't think I've ever looked back from that point. It think I found what really suited me and ran with it, and now I find ways to adapt it so I don't get bored."
