The Australian pop icon, who last week kicked off the tour in Australia, will perform at the Manchester Academy on April 1 and London’s HMV Apollo Hammersmith two days later.

The 43-year-old, whose website describes the tour as ‘a unique experience, for super fans only,’ will be ignoring her most famous hits in favour of giving various B-sides, rarities and demoes a rare outing during the two gigs.

The ‘flipside to a huge Kylie production’ is one of many ways in which the ‘All The Lovers’ star will commemorate her enduring career this year, with a Greatest Hits collection featuring acoustic and orchestral versions of her biggest singles planned for release, as well as an ITV1 special.  

Tickets for the two shows go on sale tomorrow (Mar 26) at 9am, priced from £79.

Kylie had announced a "small and intimate" tour in her native Australia that would give her fans the chance to hear songs they wouldn't have expected.

Yesterday (March 7) a statement was posted on her official website saying sorry to those who missed out on tickets to her 'Anti Tour' shows. It read:

"Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets to the Anti Tour shows in Melbourne and Sydney later this month. We are now completely sold out. We are sorry to those fans who missed out on tickets and are very grateful for your patience and support."

However, later that day another post was published on the website stating that Kylie has "responded to pleas from fans" and added two new shows to the schedule - on the same nights as her two previously announced dates.

The stunning songstress took to her Twitter page yesterday, March 5, and shared a promotional photograph for the production, which informed her 1.1 million fans that a new live show is set to launch down under: "YES! #AntiTour is coming to Australia."

A statement on the 'All The Lovers' star's website explains that this exciting new tour will give fans the chance to hear Minogue "and her band performing those songs you thought you’d never hear live":

"Small, intimate, unexpected. A unique experience, for super fans only.  Kylie and her band performing those songs you thought you’d never hear live! The flipside to a huge “Kylie production”, a once in a lifetime chance and a night to remember."

Last week, Minogue told Sky News that the Anti Tour really appeals to her because it's such an unusual and niche concept:

"(The) Anti tour is something I'm very keen on. I think it's an interesting concept. That's something that's really just for super fans. There's not going to be hit songs in that show, but it's a good balance to something like (the) Aphrodite (tour)."

So far, she has announced 2 dates in Australia and will perform on March 18 at The Palace in Melbourne and March 20 at the Big Top in Sydney. Tickets for the dates will be on sale as of tomorrow, March 7.

The 'All The Lovers' songstress took to Twitter on Saturday to share a series of photographs from the exciting event with her 1.1 million followers and tweeted pictures of food, a stunning Pucci dress, incredible headwear and her dancers. 

She also wrote: "Thank you to everyone who participated in the K25 Mardi Gras floats....#incredible. Happy Mardi Gras. Love, love and LOVE!!! Still simply cannot believe the amount of people who were in or helped create the K25 float. #shouldbesleepingbynow."

The star-studded event has already seen the likes of Sir Paul McCartney, Jessie J and JLS confirmed to perform.

The gig, which will take place outside Buckingham Palace in June, has now added Kylie and Stevie Wonder to the packed bill.

Speaking about landing a slot at the show, Kylie said she was "honoured" to be asked to play. She said:

"I'm honoured to be invited to perform at the Diamond Jubilee Concert. To share the stage in front of Buckingham Palace with music legends including Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Tom Jones and Elton John in celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee is very exciting."

The singer, who is in the midst of celebrating 25 years in music, told the Metro that she should have new material ready to come next year. She said:

"I have started on new music already. It should be ready for 2013."

Kylie recently released a re-recorded version of her track 'Finer Feelings' to celebrate the quarter century milestone, and she added that it is refreshing to work on both old and new material. She said:

"While we are celebrating K25 – 25 years since Locomotion - it's really nice to be working on new stuff and different interpretations of the old hits. It's been recorded at Abbey Road and we will see what comes out."

The 'All The Lovers' singer embraced the spirit of Valentine's Day and opened up about her ideal man, and when asked by Stylist magazine which trait was the most important to her out of appearance, being good in bed and having a good sense of humour 43-year-old Minogue joked:

"Can I choose a combination of all three? You definitely have to be able to laugh. I can't imagine a relationship where you don't get each other's humour. Looks are lovely but I think if you are attracted to someone you find what's attractive in them anyway."

She added, "and in the bed department, that's a bonus... In recent times, let's say I've gone for the Latio type. Andreas is Spanish, Olivier [Martinez] was French and I had another director boyfriend [Stephane Sednaoui] who was French. The common denominator is being creative and artistic."

The Aussie star posted a tweet yesterday (February 6) praising her one million plus followers on the website.

However, she lamented one of her followers for being a "deluded weirdo making threats" - and stated that the police have been told about the abusive fan. She said:

"I love 1,033,861 of you LOVERS, but 1 is not a lover, just a deluded weirdo making threats #andthatdoesnotmakeyouspecial SO..police alerted."

Kylie started to celebrate her 25 years in music recently by re-releasing her track 'Finer Feelings', with many other special events planned to mark her quarter of a century milestone.

It is a quarter of a century since Kylie's debut single 'Locomotion' was released.

And to kick off a series of special celebrations marking the milestone, Kylie will release a new version of 'Finer Feelings - but only once 25,000 fans have tweeted about it.

Kylie is asking for fans to use the hashtag '#k25fans' - and once 25,000 people have tweeted it, the full track will be released.

In a survey run by PRS (Performing Rights Society) For Music, the track came out trumps as the song with the most airplay in the noughties.

The Press Association confirms that Britney Spears' 'Toxic' charted at No.2 on the list, with Robbie Williams' anthemic 'Angels' taking the bronze medal.

Incidentally, British songwriter Cathy Dennis helped pen both 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' and 'Toxic'.

Following her induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame last week, the Australian hitmaker explained that she's a "massive Madonna fan" and although they have only met "briefly" she is inspired by Madonna's career and her longevity:

"We have some friends in common and a message will go back and forth. 'She says hi,' or 'I say hi.' But, obviously how can you not love Madonna? I know she's got a new album coming out and I hope she kills it!"

"I want her to do really, really well. As a fan I want some great Madonna music."

The 'Spinning Around' superstar was inducted into the ARIA Hall Of Fame over the weekend and told the press that the acknowledgement means so much after years of highs and lows:

"There has been a period in my career, more than one I'd say, where things are low and things aren't going the way you hoped they would go. I had a non-conventional start in this industry and it wasn't to everyone's liking. Being here and being acknowledged is really kind of something, it's amazing."

She added: "I understand that when I started, I hadn't earned my stripes but I think I've got them now."

The 'All The Lovers' hitmaker donated the red La Perla lingerie, which she wore during her photoshoot for the 2012 Study Vox Foundation charity calendar, to be auctioned off for charity and it sold at Christie's yesterday (November 15) for a significant amount of money. 

The bustier and body were bought by an anonymous fan and Minogue took to her official Twitter page to thank the buyer for their generosity:

"Thx to the mystery buyer!!! WOW! So thrilled and for a great cause."

The money raised will be used by the Study Vox Foundation to "support students and young and disadvantaged people everywhere."

The superstar was present at the world famous Abbey Road Studios last night for its special 80th birthday celebrations and revealed that she has been working there for the past few weeks.

She also treated attendees to a few more exciting details about her new "project" and said:

"I've been at Abbey Road for about two weeks in total - not just for this, I've been working on a project for next year!"

"Next year's my 25th anniversary," she continued. "We've been recording acoustic and orchestral versions of a number of my hits."

She performed a few of her songs for the intimate crowd last night, November 10, including a stripped back rendition of 'On A Night Like This', and promised her Twitter followers that she will upload exclusive footage of the showcase "later".

The 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' superstar was photographed out in London on November 6 as she attended George Michael's charity event at the Royal Albert Hall and found herself subjected to an onslaught of rumours that imply she has opted for the cosmetic procedure. 

She took to her Twitter page last night (November 7) and expressed her agitation at the lies, writing:

"So, I have been filmed out in public the last 3 nights & suddenly it is 'reported' I cannot move my face????? #whataloadofrubbish #annoying"
