Kylie Minogue to close Commonwealth Games

Kylie Minogue will headline the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony.

The singer will take to the stage at Glasgow's Hampden Park on Sunday (August 3) as Scotland waves goodbye to the sporting event.

The former Voice UK coach's performance will mark the Games' move from Scotland to Australia, who are hosting the event in 2018.

Minogue will be joined by Lulu, Deacon Blue and Dougie MacLean at the closing ceremony.

Also on the bill are rising Glasgow synthpop group Prides, who are releasing the single 'I Should Know You Better' on September 29.

The trio are also due to headline the BBC Introducing Stage at the Reading and Leeds festivals in August.
