Kylie Minogue on Nick Cave: "He's in his own realm"

Kylie Minogue has been talking about working with fellow Australian Nick Cave.

The ‘Spinning Around’ singer appears in Cave’s new film '20,000 Days On Earth'. The pair also previously worked together on the 1996 track ‘Where The Wild Roses Grow’.

Speaking to NME about working with Nick Cave on his movie, Kylie said: “He could do ten of these movies and we'd still have a million questions left. That's what makes an enigma and a superstar and someone that will constantly have your interest.”

She went on: “He's constantly on an exploratory mission of who he is and how he becomes his art, or how his art comes through him. What a mind. If we could just get into his mind! He's in his own realm.”

On filming her scenes for '20,000 Days On Earth' Minogue stated: “It ran parallel to my other experiences with him: they take me out of my comfort zone, but also somehow into another comfort zone. I feel safe but challenged, inspired and liberated.”

It seems the ‘Into The Blue’ star is hoping to spend more time working on films as she recently voiced her interest in becoming a director.
