Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan's 'Especially For You' has become the latest single to reach one million UK sales.

The duo originally released the song in 1988 and the Official Charts Company have confirmed that it has now broken the million sales barrier.

Minogue commented: “I’m thrilled to hear 'Especially For You' has become a million seller! Although so much time has passed since Jason and I recorded it in Sydney with Mike Stock, it has the ability to transport us all back to that time.

"It’s so touching to have a song which has a place in so many peoples’ hearts and one which remains a huge fan favourite."

It is only the 154th track to have sold over one million units in the UK to date.

It is the second time Minogue features on the list, with her 2001 smash hit 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' also selling one million.
