Kylie Minogue on post-tour blues: 'I have bouts of mini-depression'

Pop icon Kylie Minogue has admitted that after she finishes a tour she often deals with periods of experiencing low moods.

Speaking to Britain's The Sunday Times Style magazine, the 'Spinning Around' superstar explained that it's a tough transition to go from being incredibly busy and performing every night to doing nothing and resuming an ordinary life:

"As a performer, it's go-go-go-go-go, then stop, and stay indoors and do nothing, almost have a mini-depression. You go from an adrenaline high of working and travelling and performing all the time, so when you stop you have this tension in your body from your adrenal glands pumping."

"(I want to) spend more time at cruising altitude... For the first time, my lungs can breathe, and I am expanding, broadening my horizons sideways, filled with new experiences, rather than just simply going forward on that treadmill. And it feels brilliant. It feels fantastic."

Meanwhile, Minogue's 'The Abbey Road Sessions' is out today (October 20) and is available on CD, as a digital download and on vinyl.
