Kylie Minogue ahead of schedule

Kylie Minogue is ahead of schedule with the recording of her new LP.

The Australian pop singer has surprised EMI executives with eight "upbeat" tracks for the follow-up to 2007's 'X'. Minogue has been working with producer Stuart Price on the new material, which is not due until much later in 2010. A spokesperson for the star said that N-Dubz submitted songs for a possible collaboration – but concrete plans for a hook-up are yet to be made.
