Labrinth says he would 'love' to write more songs for Rihanna

Labrinth has expressed his desire to work again with Rihanna.

The Brit co-wrote and co-produced the track 'Lost in Paradise' for the singer's 2012 record 'Unapologetic'.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Labrinth said that he hopes to resume his writing relationship with the Bajan beauty in the near future.

He said: "We're going to do more. Rihanna's a really cool girl and artist, so I'd love to do some more for her. I always submit music, but I think I like a personal touch. I'd rather feel the person's energy than say, 'Here's some music - sing this!'."

The music man added that he worked with Ed Sheeran and Emeli Sandé on songs for his next album, but it seems he is ready to give them to someone else - possibly Rihanna.

Labrinth said: "The records Ed, Emeli and I have done, we wrote some really good stuff, but they kind of weren't right for any of us, and so it was just like, 'Yeah, maybe Rihanna could sing this?'. So yeah, you'll probably hear our work on somebody else's album."

The Brit meanwhile is due to release his new single 'Let It Be' on September 28.
