Labrinth confirms that he did collaborate with Ed Sheeran: 'We both kind of disowned it'

'Earthquake' sensation Labrinth has revealed that there is a collaborative track floating around somewhere that he created with 'Lego House' superstar Ed Sheeran, but they're not sure how to release it or where it should go.

During an interview with Capital FM, the hitmaker explained that the rumours suggesting he worked with singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran are completely true, but neither of them felt as though the song was right for their own albums:

“I have a brief for my album, I’m like ‘it needs to sound like this or it’s not going on’, and Ed was quite the same. We made a sick record but it’s weird, it’s like we kind of both disowned it. We both just went, ‘yeah, it’s really good but it’s not going on MY album!'"

Last month, meanwhile, Labrinth confessed that he really wants to write more songs for Bajan beauty Rihanna and told Digital Spy: "We're going to do more. Rihanna's a really cool girl and artist, so I'd love to do some more for her. I always submit music, but I think I like a personal touch. I'd rather feel the person's energy than say, 'Here's some music - sing this!'."
