Labrinth & Emeli Sande top UK singles chart

Labrinth has today topped the UK singles chart with his Emeli Sande collaboration, ‘Beneath Your Beautiful.’

The R&B star’s sixth single from his debut album, ‘Electronic Earth,’ climbed a massive 84 places to number one following the pair’s performance of the track on last week’s The X-Factor, denying Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ a return to pole position.

Last week’s chart-topper, Calvin Harris & Florence Welch’s ‘Sweet Nothing’ dropped to No.3, Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’ held firm at No.4, PSY's 'Gangnam Style' fell to No.5, whilst JLS's 'Hottest Girl In The World' debuted at No.6.

Elsewhere, there were new entries for Naughty Boy’s 'Wonder' (No.10), Bastille’s 'Flaws' (No.21) and The Lumineers’ 'Ho Hey' (No.23) and climbs for Disclosure's Latch (No.12), Justin Bieber's 'Beauty And A Beat' (No.18) and Jake Bugg's 'Two Fingers' (No.28)
