Labrinth has hinted that his second studio album will be released this summer.

The urban star, who topped the charts with Emeli Sande collaboration, ‘Beneath Your Beautiful,’ last year, told Capital FM that fans shouldn’t have to wait too long for the follow-up to 2011 debut, ‘Electronic Earth:’

"It'll probably be coming in the summer, or very soon. I don't want to make any promises. But there's going to be some very, very serious stuff coming very soon.”

When asked what musical direction the record is taking, the 24-year-old added:

"I wouldn't say a new direction but definitely I think people are going to enjoy to hear my vocal as much as they heard it on 'Beneath Your Beautiful' on some of the new records we're putting out.”

Soul singer Laura Mvula also revealed to Yahoo omg! today that she has been collaborating with Labrinth on his new LP.
