Labrinth has revealed his desire to work with One Direction - but only if the band tried a new sound.

The British music maestro has collaborated with a number of big names over the past few years, including the likes of Emeli Sandé and Conor Maynard.

However, it seems the 'Live While We're Young' boyband could be next in line to receive his golden touch - but it would mean One Direction altering their sound. He told Entertainmentwise:

"If I could put them on something totally opposite to what anyone would hear them on then I would do it. I'd try and make them sound like Boyz II Men on some crazy new wave record."

Pharrell Williams meanwhile recently revealed that he is in talks with One Direction's people to help create tunes with the group.
