Lady Gaga has given her thoughts on friendship and suggested that you can see through "fake" friends.

The singer took to Twitter to share a photo of herself with Donatella Versace and a few other friends along with the text:

"Friends are like diamonds. Fake ones look ok but they're cheap. The real ones last forever."

Gaga has previously hinted that she had been shafted by friends and colleagues in the past.

The singer meanwhile later added on Twitter that people should allow their talent to flourish over time, saying:

"Your talents are like crops in a garden. Cultivate them and they will grow stronger each season. Every market will want your yield."
