'Applause' hitmaker Lady Gaga has revealed that she recently bought a new pet and shared a snapshot of the adorable puppy both on her Instagram feed and via her LittleMonsters.com website. 

Writing on Twitter earlier today (April 28), the superstar explained that the dog is hers and also announced the adorable pooch's (pictured left) name: "Me and my BATPIG #partBAT #partPIG. Her name is Asia. She is a BATPIG I love her I'm her mom."

Gaga, meanwhile, is due to kick off her highly anticipated artRave: The ARTPOP Ball world tour next month on May 4 and recently admitted that it is unlike anything she has ever staged before so she can't wait to unveil it: "This tour is unlike anything we've ever done! Get ready to PARTY."

She confessed that packing for a world tour is quite easy because she tends to stuff her cases full of panties: "I'm really excited for a big, huge, clear stage. Yes, I do have panties, yes. I have more panties than clothes probably."
