Pop icon Lady Gaga has revealed that she is counting the days until her new tour, ArtRave: The Artpop Ball Tour, begins because she can't wait to get back on the road. 

The 'Applause' sensation was forced to axe her previous jaunt early after injuring her hip, which resulted in a serious surgery, but admitted that she is so excited to tour again and loves rehearsing for this upcoming new run of dates. 

Writing on Twitter this morning (May 3), Gaga explained that the latest run through went well and shared a photograph of herself preparing: "Just two more sleeps until #TheARTPOPBall #iLoveRehearsal."

Last month, the sensation told Capital FM that her new tour will be about 'making live art': "It's really, really amazing. The whole premise of the tour is basically making live art - that's how we see it, a live installation every night with the fans. It's a party, and it's all about a celebration of music. Anyone that is into anything that is creative is going to really, really love this show. It's all about putting you in a creative headspace and celebrating that."
