Lady Gaga has told her fans that she will "always" be by their side.

The singer is currently touring her artRave: The ARTPOP Ball Tour show around North America and it seems to be going down well with her followers.

Taking to Twitter, the US star said that she has been taken aback by the love shown to her by her devotees.

She said: "I love monsters so much, so many of u are always there for me. I'll always be there for you. Leather, lace, fishnets and fists in the air."

Gaga meanwhile will bring her tour to the UK in October for a series of arena dates.

The stage design features a number of elevated walkways which fans can stand underneath.
