Lady Gaga: "I could listen to Bruce Springsteen for the rest of my life"

Lady Gaga has lavished praise on Bruce Springsteen.

The singer took to Twitter to suggest that she would be happy to just listen to The Boss's music for the rest of her time.

The 'Applause' star said: "I could listen to Bruce Springsteen for the rest of my life. I think I will."

It's not the first time the flamboyant star has spoken about the rock icon, with the singer saying in 2011:

"My father used to play a lot of Bruce Springsteen records when I was a kid, and he was blue collar America. And in a way, I related to Bruce because I watched my father, a blue collar American citizen, relate to Bruce and I think that in a social way, my fans feel blue collar."

Gaga meanwhile is currently in the midst of her North American artRave: The ARTPOP Ball tour.

The singer is due to play in San Diego tonight (June 2) before playing cities such as San Jose and Milwaukee.

Gaga will bring the tour to the UK in October for a number of arena shows.
