Lady Gaga told off by PETA for draping dog in jewellery

Lady Gaga has been criticised by an animal rights body for making her dog wear jewellery.

The singer recently got a new pup called Asia and she regularly updates Instagram with pictures of the canine.

However, some recent images of Asia saw the dog draped in items of jewellery, including necklaces and bracelets.

This has now been criticised by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), who said in a statement:

"Lady Gaga may choose to decorate herself with elaborate and even uncomfortable outfits, but Asia doesn't get to make that choice...Although it seems pretty clear that Lady Gaga loves Asia, we think Asia - and all dogs - are adorable without all the added flair.

"The best accessory for any dog is a comfortable, secure, well-fitting harness, which is perfect for long walks together."

A clip meanwhile from Lady Gaga's unreleased 'Do What U Want' video has surfaced online, showcasing the singer nude and making suggestive movements.
