Lady Gaga finds singing jazz easier than pop

Lady Gaga has suggested that she is more comfortable singing jazz than pop.

The singer has forged a massively successful career out of the latter, with her last album 'ARTPOP' coming out in 2013.

The US star, however, is resuming her working relationship with jazz crooner Tony Bennett with the release of the duets album 'Cheek to Cheek' on September 23.

Speaking in a recent interview, Gaga said that jazz often comes more naturally to her than pop because that's where her roots lie.

She said: "You know, it's funny, but jazz comes a little more comfortable for me than pop music, than R&B music. I've sang jazz since I was 13 years old, which is kind of like my little secret that Tony found out. So this is almost easier for me than anything else."

The duo meanwhile released the single 'Anything Goes' in the US earlier this week.
